First bread of the year

I'm sorry, but ... roasted beets are not candy. Have you had candy? Because it is awesome, and I think you might be missing out. Roasted beets are ... beets.

That bread looks very tasty, though. And you would be so proud of me! I made bread for the very fist time, a couple weeks ago. I still have a bunch in my freezer, but when it is gone, I think I might even do it again. Yummy bread!

Those roasted beets are sweeter than my 72% dark chocolate bar so pretty darn close to candy. But yes, I'll agree that they aren't quite the same thing. I'm indulging in literary hyperbole.
